Memorial Day Weekend - NY 2012

For Memorial Day the wife and I headed out to New York. The trip was planned and to be honest it was a wedding present from my wife. I’ve never been to New York and she knew I always wanted to go, so she took me.

We took a million pictures so I’ll spare you the torture of viewing them. Instead I’ll just show you all the food we ate… Better yet, I’ll rank them according to how I like them… 1.Peter Lugar Steak House I love steak, especially dry aged steak… This place will be a must every time II go to NY..

2.Dunkin Donuts Need I say more.. Dunkin Donuts is the shit.. There donuts are always good and the coffee compliments the treats very well.

3.Maison Laudree I love Macaroons.. It’s a shame you don’t see a lot of Macaroon spots popping up everywhere.

4.Eataly Handmade pasta.. How can you not love that..

5.Joe's Shanghai Soup Dumplings.. It is worth the subway ride and walk… you will not be let down..

6.Café Habana CORN.. CORN and CORN.. Fuck your local Del mar fair corn.. Habana got some good Corn..

7.Ipuddo NY Pork Buns..!! O yea and Ramen..

8.Leavin Bakery They got some fat ass cookies…. And there good..

9.Yakatori Taisho Hit this place up while you wait for Ipuddo.. Yakatori and Beer is always the business..

10.Carnegie Delicatessen Meat.. Meat… I love me some thin sliced beef..

11.Lombardi's Pizza Sangria and Pizza.. MMmmmMM

12.Shake Shack If you want a heart attack.. Eat here.. Shit is greasy but kinda good..

13.Rice to Riches Something different yogurt and ice cream… Rice Pudding??

14.Juniors Get your cheesecake fix…

15.Hala Guys These guys would have been more number 1.. But they gave me a stomach ache..

And those are "my rankings".. We even got to catch a Broadway Show, the Jersey Boys... Boy was a surprised at this performance.. I usually fall asleep in these things.. But not this one.. I was on my toes the whole time..

Weekend Wrap-up (201202120) V-Day Early

Wassup yall.. This weekend was great, aside from the fact that I got in a car accident.. FML..

I've been to many all you can eat kbbq places.. And this place my fiancee and I went to on Saturday, was a hit!!!

It was so good.. Affordable and good..

At night we celebrated valentines day a bit early. Since this year it falls on a weekday..

Il Pastaio in Beverly Hills..

I think this has got to be the best Italian food I've ever had. Christina had the lobster raveoli, I had the extra wide (green) Lingunni plate and we shared a ribeye steak.. Fuck yea we were hungry..

In the morning we had an appointment with our ceremony Singer.. But before that we stopped by 85 Bakery..

These black things were garlic cheese breads.. Crack baby. crack...

After our appointment we had pho and then I headed back to SD..

My Bachelor Party

Yo.. so this past weekend I had the pleasure of having my very own bachelor party (It was the same weekend as my fiancee's, I'll just wait for her to post the pictures)...

I had most of my family and friends over for the festivities..

I want to give a special thanks to my best man (brother), for organizing the whole thing.. He got the bottles, the models (4 of them), Limo and Room's booked for me.. He even gave me gambling money for the weekend.

Shit i even got me a gold watch..

I really didn't expect all the love I received this weekend... I never once had to pull out my wallet.. I always had dough from everyone, especially from the contributions of my brother.. I never heard anyone complain and everything went according to plan..

I also want to thank all my homies that took time away from their families and lives to celebrate my bachelor party weekend.. I know it took a lot of dough and sacrifice to make everything a reality.. Shout outs to all the homies that couldn't make it, I still love y'all and I understand your reasons for not going.. I'll see y'all in April.

So.. instead of posting pictures.. I made a short video of the weekend, minus all the bullshit I can't show you..

But before you watch the video.. I just want to say that I love my fiancee and I want to thank her for letting my have my time with my boys..

Weekend Wrap-up 201201240 "Productive"

The past couple weeks have been pretty chill.. Nothing to crazy happening just some gold old fashion chillen..

earlier this week I linked up with my boy Arnold for a late nighte gym/burrito run.. We couldn't stop talking about our up coming Las Vegas trip... Shits going to be epic..

The next day, before kicking off the weekend, I met up with my Boy Ryan for a quick drink at TGI's.. It was fun jsut catching up on some old college bullshit..

Hey Therese.. She's my own little soldier.. Since she's stationed in SD now, she comes to the gym with me and my brother...

This past weekend my friend Pat & Kat had there baby shower.. Congrats guys.. I hope you guys have a healthy birth..

This past weekend the fiancee and I picked up somme wedding rings.. Here's snap of the box they gave me.. I wish I can show you guys a picture but mmy shits getting fitted right now..

Weekend Wrap-up 201201060 "Welcome Back"

This weekend wasn't too bad.. a pretty relaxed week of work with but still enough to keep things going..

This week the co-workers and I got to have lunch at URGE and picked up a couple burgers..

Friday night was a pretty productive and adventurous night..

First the fiancee and I had an appointment to work on our wedding invitations. Special thanks to laidoffmom.com !!!

And at night I scoop up my good friend Therese from the airport.. She's stationed out here in SD for a couple months..

The next day Christina and I ran wedding errands and grabbed lunch at Kabob Shop..

Saturday night Christina had dinner with my sister.. So I got to hang out with the boys...

On Sunday my brother and a friend came with me too check out suits for the wedding..

I was even able to pick up a suit for my upcoming bachelor party weekend..!! I hope my shit looks hot..

And then to cap off the weekend, the family and I had dinner at Pat and Oscars.. Minus mmy sister, who was working hard at work.. We missed you sister..

Weekend Delights

Whut up..

I didn't do shit this year for NYE.. but who cares..

Prior to the weekend I hit up Phils BBQ with my good friend Marc.. It was great catching up with him since he's been away in the NAVY..

On Thursday my boy Marc had a gathering at his house to celebrate his fathers bday and his going away (back to San Antonio).. There was hella food to enjoy..

The next day I went to my co-workers place for her daughter's birthday.. She's such a cutie..

Afterwards the fiancee and I headed back to SD to celelbrate NYE a day early(Friday).

On Sunday my brother and I went up to the OC.. I dropped him off at the casino and I went to Gyu-Kaku with Christina..

My brother headed back down after playing a couple games and I stayed the night in Cerritos.

After the Gym we rewarded ourselves with dinner..

Then in the mornining we grabbed some breakfast..

The next day was my fiancee's mom birthday celebration.. They did it at Lucille's this year.. I love when there are little kids in the party.. Y?? Because they don't really eat.. So there was hella food for us grown folks..

This week I made spagetti with MEATBALLs for the first time.. My meatballs were pretty good. I can't wait to make another batch..

Christmas 2011 - Family and Friends

I love the month of December.. Not only is it the month for christmas, its also the month of my fiancee's bday..

Before kicking off the Christmas celebrations with the families/friends I took my sweetheart out to BLT.. There we had some great steak and a surprise visit from her to friends.

On Friday it was my friends annual Christmas gift exchange. My fiancee joined her first year!! Good times.. Good times.. My buddy marc even came thru from San Antonio..

Christmas eve was at my uncle Al's pad and Christmas day started with a church function..

Christmas evening was at my fiancee's family house. And they had PRIME RIB!!! I love food..

I missed my family so much I skpyed from Cerritos... I felt like I was a two parties at the same time!!

The next day my uncle, brother and I headed out to the Casino..

Then to cap off Monday... One of my best friends, brother and I watched Mission Impossible.. It was a fucking great movie..
